|The real gem of the McLaren P14 is still its powerplant. The new model will feature an evolution of the V8 twin-turbo 3.8-liter 650S, which delivers 650hp and 678 Nm of torque. The power of the upcoming vehicle is also rumored to reach 700 hp.|
The new model will continue to have the MonoCell carbon fiber chassis and many of the key components of the 650S. The current model goes from zero to 100 km/h in 3 seconds onto a top speed of 333 km/h. These numbers are likely to be improved upon.
