Ferrari's landmark F1-2000

Michael Schumacher had spent four seasons with Ferrari when he finally won his first Formula 1 drivers’ title for the team in the F1-2000. This was the car that started five years of supremacy for Ferrari, which won the drivers’ and constructors’ championships from 2000-2004.
Michael Schumacher’s Monaco Grand Prix-winning Ferrari F2001 has sold for $7,504,000, a record for a modern-era Formula 1 car. A six-minute battle between eight bidders saw the machine blow past it's pre-sale estimate of $4m. The Ferrari F2001, chassis #211, helped power Schumacher to the fourth of his seven world titles.
